How Are You, Really??

Mid-Year Check-In (With Wine): How Are You Really?

Okay babe, pause the chaos for a second.

Grab a glass (yes, the big one) and let’s have a mid-year, catch up sesh.

Because we’re officially halfway through the year and... whew. That’s both inspiring and mildly terrifying.

So let me ask you something I bet no one has asked you lately: How are you, really?

Not “fine.” Not “busy.” Not “hanging in there.”

I mean the deep-down stuff. The part of you that’s been surviving, thriving, numbing, growing, juggling—or just holding it together with dry shampoo and prayer.

Hand holding a wine glass with rose wine against a backdrop of lush trees and a building in sunlight. Calm and serene atmosphere.

Let’s do a little check-in. No pressure. No performance. Just realness:

1. What are you proud of?

Did you finally set a boundary?

Keep a human alive every day?

Start therapy? Quit something that was draining you?

Whatever it is, celebrate it. Seriously. Text yourself a champagne emoji if you have to.

2. What’s been heavy?

No shame here.

If you're tired, overcommitted, under-appreciated, or just emotionally fried—that matters.

We can’t heal what we don’t admit.

Write it down. Cry it out. Then sip some wine and breathe.

3. What do you want the rest of the year to feel like?

Not what you want to “achieve.”

Not a checklist of goals.

I’m talking about feeling words.

Peaceful? Present? Joyful? Wild and free? Rested?

Let those feelings guide your next steps—not your to-do list.

Here's the truth:

Mid-year isn’t just about reevaluating goals. It’s about reconnecting with yourself.

Checking your heart, your pace, and your purpose.

Maybe you’re right on track. Maybe you’re lost in the weeds. Either way—you’re not behind, babe. You’re becoming.

So cheers to you. To messy progress. To wine-fueled reflection. To the second half of the year and the woman you’re still becoming.

Now... tell me: how are you, really?
